Lyndsey Rogers – Parent Governor - Co Vice-Chair Background: I am a paediatric nurse with 20 years experience. My speciality for many years was diabetes but more recently I have moved to a reviewing, supporting & educating role within an NHS Integrated Care Board. I live in Maresfield with my son (who attends Bonners), my step-daughter (when she is not away at university) and my Husband. I was keen to become a parent governor to strengthen the working relationship between parents & schools to ensure the best outcomes for our children. I am passionate about special educational needs and ensuring the school is inclusive to all children and parents. Interests: I am an avid netball player and I love walking my crazy dog, Daisy. Health and wellbeing is really important to me and I am keen to promote this for the children in our community too. |

|
Jenny Eadon Background experience: I have had a long career in Further and Higher Education, culminating in Director of Curriculum encompassing several disparate departments, from level 1 to degree courses. Interests: I am interested in how we learn. I think all learners should be challenged and encouraged to deliver their full potential. The learning environment should provide academic, artistic, cultural and physical experiences that foster lifelong enthusiasm and enjoyment of discovery in learners. Learners should be encouraged to develop self-confidence and discipline, alongside respect and understanding for other cultures, traditions and people. I am always keen that the young mind should be broadened and deepened to become aware that there is more to know, something extra to find out. There is little more rewarding than to see a nurtured, young intellect blossom into full expansive maturity. Governor responsibilities: Governor responsibilities: Vice-chair of Governors . I am the Governor responsible for Safeguarding and Inclusion. Champion of SEN. |

Ben Sear – Foundation Governor I became the Rector of Maresfield Church in 2019, though I was a member of the congregation previously until 2012. I originally studied biochemistry at university and worked for the Medical Research Council before starting my theological training. Prior to our arrival in Maresfield, I was based in Patcham (Brighton) for four years during my on-the-job training. I am married to Claudia and have three daughters. I am very glad to be part of village life and to have this opportunity to support the school and develop its links with the church. |

Harriet Creamer - Co-opted Governor - Vice Co-Chair Background I am a lawyer by training and worked for many years as a partner in a large City law firm. After a period of time out while my children were growing up, I returned to work as an independent consultant, advising on management and people development issues for a range of law firms across the UK and abroad. I believe very strongly that all children and young people should be able to access an excellent education and have previously been a governor in both the private and the state sector. I am also a trustee at St Peter & St James Hospice in Wivelsfield Green. Interests I am married with three grown up sons: the eldest lives and works in Madrid, the other two in London and I enjoy spending time with them when I can. I’m a keen choral singer - I sing with The Bach Choir in London (of which I’m also a trustee) and am a huge supporter of music provision in schools. |
