Individual Needs Assistant

Our school requires an Individual Needs Assistant to work with a child in Year 3 with a EHCP.  The post is for 16.15 hours per week 8.45am to 12 noon.

The salary will be Single Status Grade 3 between point 7. This is a fixed term contract for 1 year due to the child's statement.

The successful candidate will be a motivated and energetic individual who has a calm, orgainised, patient and professional approach to working with children.  We would like a cheerful, reliable, flexible and hardworking individual.

Speech and language

Sensory training desirable

Social skills/nurture training desirable

Breakfast and After School Club – Level 3 in Child Care required

We are seeking a level 3 child care qualified practitioner to work in our wrap around provision for nursery and primary school children.

The successful candidate will need to work from 7.45am – 8.45am Monday - Friday and 3.15pm - 5.00 pm (Friday 4.30pm finish). This position is term time only.

12:45 hours per week.  ESCC Single Status grade 2 point 4.  Working 39 weeks per year paid for 44.05 weeks per year, £11.79 per hour with pay rise pending.

Club opening hours are 7.45am – 8.35am and 3.15pm – 5.00pm

Main responsibilities will include:

  • setting up the play area
  • assisting with the collection of children from school and nursery
  • supporting the children in play
  • cleaning and tidying resources
  • preparing a light tea

You would be working with an enthusiastic and committed team in a dedicated play space which has additional on-site garden, play equipment and kitchen.

We are seeking a Breakfast and After School Club Co-ordinator to work in our wrap around provision for nursery and primary school children.

The successful candidate will need to work from 7.30am – 8.45am Monday - Friday and 2.45pm - 5.15 pm (Friday 4.30pm finish). This position is term time only.

17:45 hours per week.  ESCC Single Status grade 2 point 4.  Working 39 weeks per year paid for 44.05 weeks per year, £11.79 per hour with pay rise pending.

Club opening hours are 7.45am – 8.35am and 3.15pm – 5.00pm

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the day-to-day co-ordination
  • Develop and implement activity plans that encourage learning and creativity in a fun, age appropriate way
  • Ensure compliance with all safeguarding policies and regulation to protect the welfare of children
  • Maintain resources needed for the club and provide weekly shopping lists
  • Ensure a safe, fun and stimulating environment for children during after-school hours
